Hello, I’m looking to naturally blow grass in the breeze. I’ve read a few discussions seeming that placing a wind dynamic in a particle emitter should make some things change. However, I was unable to figure this out in cinema 4d… NATURALLY nothing happened when I did this, so I am looking to make this effect work for my FINAL in my class, so it is direly important because I do not have 1000 USD to retake the class.

I am also looking to be able to loop an animation in C4d, now I have read in several places that looping an ANIMATION in c4d is one of the most fundamental bits of information. However, no examples nor tutorials were revealed in my research in being able to learn this task that I should know.

I look forward urgently to your response and please believe I highly value and respect the time applied into answering my questions. I am still relatively new to the program but an incredibly intense learner, I hope to find the answers necessary for passing my class.

And if anything at all I truly appreciate you taking the time to read and consider my post.

I assume your grass is made with the hair module. You can use the wind from the particles drop down menu to effect the hair. Look in the forces tab of the HAIR attributes and you can see that you can include and exclude different forces.

Looping is different depending what you want to loop it also takes a whole new direction with the NLA that came with release 11. There is a option when looking at the timeline in the KEY menu to CYCLE that will duplicate your key frames down the timeline… you can also set up repeating motions with expresso or non linear animation. You can also loop most of the noise in the textures…. and so on.
