    Hey guys,

I’m not really fit with dynamics and I’m trying to figure something out:

I have two spheres. A large one, slightly transformed with displacement and placed inside an atom-array, to make it form a slightly irregular cage, and a second smaller sphere that I would like to put inside the larger one and have it bounce around as the larger atom-array sphere moves.

The problem is: Cinema 4D still sees my larger sphere as a sphere (even if I convert it), having the smaller ball bounce of it, if I drop it from above, and completely going nuts if I place it inside.

The same thing happens if I delete one side of a cube and have a smaller sphere drop into it, as if it was a open box. The Cube is still considered as a whole by the c4d dynamics.

There needs to be a very easy to work around this problem?

Thanks in advanced for any help!

    Cheers, Lisa

You need to set the collision type of the outer sphere to “moving mesh” in the simulation tag’s collision tab.
