  Dynamics Audio Effect

  I have noticed this issue in CS 4 and now CS 5.5. The dynamics effect works intermittently. I cannot trust it. During playback it will be doing its thing, then all of a sudden drop out…it may come back a few seconds later. I asked Adobe about this a couple of years ago and they couldn’t help me. Very frustrating. Any ideas?
