    Hi cow folks,

This is really a general workflow question.

How do you guys set ‘in-points’ like you would in a layer based application like After Effects.

Normally I would set the scale to 0% then to 100% over 1 frame which does the trick.
However in this case i am using dynamics and C4d won’t let you scale an object unless its at frame 0.
(correct me if i am wrong here)

I know the workaround could be to cut to another camera, but the project i am working on needs to be a single shot.

    The scene:
I have a cell phone bouncing on a floor synced to music with the sound effector. There is a music cue where I need more phones to appear doing the same thing.

Do you know how i set the phones to appear at a certain point in time?
    (like the in-point in AE)

    Many thanks!
    Andrew.

    FWIW I found the answer:

Apply a Display tag to the object and keyframe the visibility from 0 to 100% when you want to mark the in-point, or make the object ‘appear’.

    🙂

You can also keyframe “visible in editor” and “visible in renderer” in an object’s Basic tab … fyi.
