Okay so in AE 7 it seems that if you change one of your saved workspaces it will save the changes when you go back into that layout from another layout. Its good to have this as an option but I really don’t think this should be the default. You’ve put a lot of time into thinking of how your saved workspaces will look and more often then not you will want the to return to how you saved them. I realize you can go into the menus and reset to the saved version of the space, however this is a bit of a pain and can get tedious. Does anyone know how to change this so it will revert to the saved version whenever you go back into that layout as in AE 6.5 and before.

when you save them the first time it savees that…when you make changes it keeps those in ADDITION to the original you saved. To snap back to the way it was when you first saved the workspace just go to Reset Workspace, it’ll snap back to the way you want.

Colin,as I said in my original post I realize you can go to the reset button. However I would rather not have it cache my changes at all so if I tell it to go to a layout it automatically resets to the saved layout. Anyone have any methods to do this.
