    Hi there,

    I am trying to animate text so it (whole word) flies in to a determined position.

    When it hits this position i would like it to slightly overshoot, then as if on elastic bounce back past its original position and continue to do so until it eventually comes to rest on the determined position.

    I imagine this is something to do with Dynamics? also my text is generated using the Mograph text object.

    I am a total beginner to dynamics by the way!

    What you want is the Delay Effector set to spring mode. But don’t animate the text object itself. Instead, go into the text object>All>Transform section and animate the position there.
