Dynamic link naming question
There was some good discussion awhile ago about keeping things organized with DL comps in AE, but my question is about naming the return DL files in Pr. Is it OK to rename the files that come back from AE to something meaningful, instead of “Project Name Linked Comp XX?” If you are round tripping 10s or 100s of clips, it gets messy in the bins and on the timeline. Should you leave the name alone in the bin and just change it on the timeline? I am always concerned about breaking the delicate connection during the DL process. Anyone have a good naming workflow?

I’ll guess that renaming the “clip” pointer in Ppro won’t hurt the linkage to actual project/comp.
