May 15, 2015 at 12:27 amHello everyone hope you’re well, I really don’t know what the issue seems to be as it was working find few days ago. I can’t seem to use Adobe Media Encoder to render projects from Adobe After Effects.
For the past 30 minutes it’s been “Connecting to Dynamic Link Server”. Nothing has happened.
What could have possibly gone wrong?
I’m using Adobe Media Encoder CC 2014 & Adobe After Effects CC 2014
Thanks

Sometimes it hangs. Simplest solution. Quit Adobe apps, and try again. Or you can quit Adobe apps, restart your computer and then try again.
You can also clean out the Media Cache as I’ve found that sometimes helps:

November 12, 2017 at 10:53 pmHi, I’ve encountered this issue to with AE CC2018 and the solution for me was to drag the .aep file into Media Encoder and select the composition I wanna render.
I hope this would help

May 5, 2021 at 9:52 pmMedia Encoder often has the same problem.
What I’d like to know is, what exactly is the Dynamic Link Server?
It seems like my AE files are being uploaded to a Adobe server before rendering. That makes no sense to me.Can anyone explain?
