Is there a way to send an edited sequence to After Effects without grouping all of the clips in Premiere? I duplicate my sequence in case I’d like to re-edit later, but it would be nice to be able to edit clips in Premiere, without having to re-send to After Effects and reapply effects.

    Thanks for any help

What I do to give me flexibility is to..

    1. Select clip to be sent to AE
    2. Duplicate it / slide it up to V2 and deactivate it
    3. Then Send to AE (Make dynamic link)

That way I still have the original clip in place on the timeline if I need it.
