dynamic guides
Long time FCP editor, Motion virgin. I am going through the tutorial on Motion 3, all is going swimmingly, except when moving a text layer around, the handy yellow dynamic guides are missing, and I miss them. They are activated in the view pulldown in the canvas window. It doesn’t seem to matter if the safe zones and/or grid are on or off. Could my little yellow friends be disabled somewhere else, unbeknownst to me, being a virgin and all? (Studio 2, G5 dual 2.5, OS 10.5.1)

From the release notes:
Dynamic Guides may not appear when Motion is first installed and opened. If Dynamic Guides do not appear by default, press the N key two times. The N key turns snapping on and off for the Dynamic Guides.
