  dynamic guides help for Motion 3 needed

  I just upgraded to Motion 3 and have had problems with the dynamic guides. I searched forum and found that others have had problems too. Seems that hitting the “N” key solved the problem of guides missing when dragging an item from file browser to canvas, however, i’m still lacking them when positioning objects in canvas. They are activated in the View drop down menus and i’ve tried the “N” key for snapping but they are still missing when trying to align existing objects in canvas.
  For now i’ve manually activated my own vertical and horizontal guides but this is cumbersome.
  Any know what’s up?
