I know it’s a longshot, but I’ve got a Fantom firewire drive that sounds like it’s got a bad head. One drive spools up but the second one keeps trying and never gets there. We got it to spool up once and we’d like to run DiskWarrior on it, but we can’t get it to spool up again. Any tricks on how we can at least get it to report to OS X? Like I said, it’s an extreme longshot, but I thought I’d ask. Thanks.

If the drive has a physical problem them disk warrior can do nothing to fiX it.
