DXF-701WS for ex1r
Hey everybody,
Does somebody maybe have a solution for using the old sony viewfinder, DXF-701WS, on an ex1r (or other camera which has sdi,component,composite or hdmi output). Are there any converters maybe and will it take care of the difference in 16:9/4:3 aspect ratio?
(or maybe the viewfinder used on the panasonic ajd400, i loved this viewfinder)
It’s not badly needed, but it would be nice.

Actually, any decent view finder is badly needed for this camera. I’ve asked Sony to tr and adapt the EX 3 arrangement over the screen but they weren’t interested. The screen is OK but a good view finder would be better.

I agree! I really like the crt viewfinders but ex1r is’nt a bad screen. It would be nice though if i could put it a litte more towards the front so that i can put the cam on the shoulder (and zoom with the libec mounted on the front).
