  Dx wind lens on a Fx body

  Hi. Has anybody used a wide angle lens for DX bodies on a FX? Currently looking at the Tokina 11-16mm but worried about the corners being soft when fully open. It’s to shoot Video with my Nikon D800. Got a few AIS lens’ with my widest being 20mm but i need wider. Any advice would be great.
