I just bought a Panasonic GH2 and am now lens shipping. Fun! Since the crop factor for this camera is 2X I want to get a very wide angle lens (around 10mm to 14mm). It seems that about all the really wide lens these days are made for the APS sensor cameras. Has anyone tried one of these lens on a M4/3 camera and how did that work out for you?

Yeah that’s a cool lens that I hadn’t considered. Thanks.

Still haven’t answered my question though: will a lens made specifically for a APS sensor camera work just as good with a M4/3 sensor camera?

Depends on the exact lens you’re talking about but generally speaking any lens you can get a mount converter for MFT will work nicely. Just a question of how much control you’ll have. For example if the lens you try has no manual iris you’ll be stuck at the maximum aperture at all times.
