DVX100B 24pA footage in Premiere Pro CC2015
Hi,
I just got a project, long form doc, that was shot on the Panasonic DVX100b with 24pAdvanced. The footage was captured in FCP with the Advanced Pulldown option. see the screen shot.
I moved the project into Premiere, as FCP was EOL a long time ago. Nothing has been edited yet, so I am trying to figure out the best way to set up my sequence. I dropped a clip to auto-creat a sequence, but I see a lot of interlacing. Any suggestions would be great!

Just wanted to post a screenshot of the settings I am using on one sequence. This gives me “crappy” playback in the Monitor, and also some shots are very interlaced on my client monitor. The monitor is being fed by a BMD decklink studio card. Maybe I am just used to working in HD-UHD, but it should look better than what I am seeing.

Right-click (Windows) or Control-click (Mac OS) a 24p clip in the Project panel.
Select Modify > Interpret Footage.
Under Frame Rate, select Remove 24p DV Pulldown.

Thanks…but that option is greyed out. I cant select it. Even If i choose “assume this frame-rate” and put in 23.976, that option is greyed out.

Also…when i open a clip in QT this is the limited info i have(see screenshot). Could there be a problem when the client is digitizing in FCP? I hope not, they have digitized a LOT of footage.

Thanks! Ill give it a try on some test clips, But I am beginning to think it was captured at 23.968 instead of at 29.97 as is recomended here:
