What are the best settings to use when recording a computer screen such as a DVI based Cinema Display. Also I have an older version of the DVX100. Not the A not the B the version that came out before the A.

When I’m recording and I attempt to listen to the audio levels using my headphone jack I don’t hear anything. Zip. When I play back using the VCR mode I can then hear the audio. Any ideas?

    Thanks,

    Mike

I always send the feed directly to the camera via s-video out of the computer. I have an All in Wonder in my PC and my Macs have a port to hook an adaptor to. This eliminates any roll, bluish hue or quality loss.
