dvx100 & avid
So I digitzed some 24pA footage into a 30i project, via a professional DVCAM deck and everything went perfectly. I believe it viewed the 24pA as just 24P, so its not perfect for going back to film, which I’m not. I was just under the assumption it was impossible to digitize 24pA footage no matter what into avids that don’t have advanced pulldown options. It looks 24P to me.. I just want to make sure i’m not editing something thats 30i… it looks 24P to me.

Depends what version of Avid. The “look” is the same in true 23.98 or in 60i.
