I shot a test at 24p on Green screen and found Anti-Aliasing problems on the body to the green screen separation. Is Blue a better color to shoot on for keying, or am I just screwed when it comes to Chroma Key?
    Thanks

Green is usually the better color for video cameras, the luminance signal mostly comes from the green channel and the blue channel is typically noisier than the green.

Yes you’re going to have blocky edges, that’s part and parcel of working with 4:1:1 video. Try ultimatte or keylight or Serious Magic Ultra or some other high-end keying tool, they can go a long ways towards delivering cleaner keys from a DV source.

DV keying can be done and done well but you need perfect lighting and perfect post processing. If you have a ton of it I highly recommend bumping up to a more robust format- such as the HVX200 or the SDX900 with more color space and less compression in camera. Both of which contribute to an easier key. But number one thing is perfect lighting without that you’re in for a losing uphill battle in post.
