    Hey all,
I own a DVX-100b, and I recently purchased a Canon Vixia HF-S100, a smaller flash based camera. I bought it for convenience purposes and smaller projects. However, I get a very good quality picture out of my S100. When would you suggest using DVX over a flash based camera and vice versa?

Sound and greater manual control, not to mention a less compressed i.e. higher quality codec would be my main reasons. But whatever works for *you* is really the point. 🙂
