  DVX aberrations

  I have a friend who previewed the HVX-200 at NAB. One thing he noticed on the test footage was chromatic aberrations and severe Moire Patterns – suffice to say, it turned him off completely – HOWEVER, this was footage shot by a person who was NOT a photographer on a prototype model without a serial number, so who knows if these issues were corrected. Has anyone noticed this on the new models?

  Also, in reference to P2 storage, and getting the most for your buck, I’ve read somewhere that Focus Enhancements is releasing a Firestore specifically for the HVX – the FS-100 with 60GB of storage, and should run about 2K.
