DVX 100a 24p advanced
I captured 24p advanced footage off of a dvx100a into final cut pro…
but every fifth frame shows signs of interlacing…
does this mean my capture settings were wrong???
I thought 24p footage was not supposed to have any interlacing
could it be my playback settings?

Tools > Remove Pulldown from Advanced Sources. Next time you capture make sure the same option is enabled in your capture settings or use the Easy Setup for 24pA footage.
