  DVW500P menu (And dipswitch) setting questions..

  Hiya,

  The Sony website isn’t being terribly helpful (And the only manual I can find on the Sony site is for a later version of the machine so that doesn’t help), so I was hoping someone here might be able to help.. We’ve got two Sony DVW-500P Digibeta recorders.. On one of them I need to change the audio tone from -20db to -18db, and while I know that involves taking the lid off and fiddling with some dipswitches, I don’t know which ones.. Also the second machine is stuck on the “Idiots”, sorry, basic menu, so I need to work out how to get to the full menu on that machine..

  Any help would be gratefully recieved (Well unless the help involves me hurting myself!)
