DVW-A500P Error 07
Hi everyone,
Got an error 20 on a Sony DVW-A500P, had a new loading compartment sitting on the shelf, so installed that and seems to have rectified the problem.
However now I’m getting an ‘Error 07 Capstan Trouble’, capstan seems to be working fine in maintenance mode though.
Any ideas?

It’s seeing an alignment issue most likely. If you thread a few tapes through it it’ll either go away or let ya know exactly where whats wrong.
