DVR access to Hard Drive?
Hey All,
Maybe a dumb question…but I just got today a U-verse Motorola box from AT&T, I’m not sure if anyone is familiar with this product, but it is Television over data line.
I’m not completely impressed right now…but since it all connects through my main internet router via Coaxial…I was wondering if there is a way to connect to the hard drive in this unit? I have an IP address…Mac address and a host name, but my fairly limited knowledge of internet protocols is preventing me from going to great lengths to connect to it.
It would be awesome, because if I could get access to the recorded HD shows…it would be nice to convert them to nice high quality files rather than the crappy VHS quality junk available on iTunes…
Let me know what you guys think…or if there might be a better forum to post this in.
