    Hello everyone!

I shooted some interviews for a documentary with main camera in SD and second light camera in HDV. Why? couse I tough that i could then in Post use the HD properties to do some artificial zooms inside the frame and then combined it with the DV material.

How do I do so inside FCP studio 2? Should I use a HDV timeline create a cropped frame with the SD size and then move the HDV around?

Are they some easier ways on doing it?

    Any help is appreciated

    Enrico

I would create an SD sequence. Open the HDV clips in the Viewer and go to the Motion tab, where you can adjust the scale and position, and use keyframes to do zooms, etc.

That’s true but the zoom in I perform in the viewer it doesn’t corrispond on the SD Timeline, how can I get around that? Couse if I correct it once is on the timeline It has loosed all it’s HD quality.
