    Hallo…

    I,m trying to capture the video from dvd…I first copied the files to HD then i opened compresor where i changed the vob files in to files that fcpro can read…only a few of them are made others compresor cant read and VOB files cant transform…always some error. There are 01-1.vob…etc, till lets say 01-5.vob, only 01_1,2.vob is made ok others not…is there some other way to capture dvd files VOB, so they all are transformed in to a file that fcpro reads? Or way to capture video VOB files?
    thx

    Mpeg Streamclip

    Handbrake is another option. I’ve had better luck on DVDs with that than mpeg streamclip. Unfortunately it’s a two-step process with handbrake.

    At this time, FCP doesn’t handle VOB files. They have to be in a format that is friendlier to video editing;

    As others have pointed out, MPEG Streamclip is the tool of choice (as long as the video isn’t copy protected)
