  DVDSP subtitle basics

  I am subtitling video for our tv channel but must now use FCP instead of Sony Vegas. From what i’ve read online the most efficient way to this is by importing the text, which is what I am used to in Vegas Architect. Does anyone know for sure what software I can use in which configuration so that DVD Studio will import successfully? I typed the text in Excel, pasted to Word and saved it as .xml, .rtf, and as Plain Text with Unicode but DVD studio rebuffed me on each one when I tried importing the files. Is there anybody out there?
