  • DVD@cess link to launch browser.. no success..

I’m tring to launch a url in a browser by creating a link from the primary DVD menu in my DVD Studio Pro 4 project. I’m creating a link to a secondary menu and enabling DVD@cess on the secondary menu. But I am havign no success. The literature I read seems to enable DVDROM viewing and basically links to data stored on the final disc itself. Is it possible to do what I am trying to do? I’ve researched this topic online as well as in the manual and I’m just hitting a brick wall…

    any ideas?

    Thanks..

Do a search on the forum for DVD@ccess and you will find the recommendation is to NOT use this feature.

If you feel you want to use this feature take a look at page 596 in the manual.

Common fix is to make sure DVD@ccess is enabled in DVDSP’s preferences.

thanks Michael. That did it.. I get by your response that it works but is not reliable across the board.

It is to be stayed away from like the plague if you intend any distribution of these disc to a general audience or people that are using Windows.

DVD@ccess is totally unpredictable on WIndows.

im concerned that on a widescreen TV there will be bands. I’m not sure why changing form progressive to interlaced changed int. But yes I am viewing on DVD player on apple desktop.
