I’ve been having a strange problem lately..

Every time i try to prepare and burn a progect…DVDA3 keeps crashing and shuting off…??

    i have a P4 3.4, 1 gig ram, 3 data HDs a 250 gig 2 200, and an 80 gig for the system.

I have reinstaled my old DVDA 2.0 and still have the same problem.

all that is in the progect is 3 30 min vids in .AVI with a simple menu.

HELP!!!! i’m 3 weeks behind in DVD burning!!!

are the prepare folders on a drive that are on a ATA/sata pci card ?
if yes – try changing the prepare folder to a drive on the mother board.

Are you preparing to the same drive? Try preparing to another physical hard drive.

Something tells me theres something not quite cool with your driver setup/configuration

    Cheers

    Martin,
First, I assume, that you have used DVDA3 successfully before. Right?
Other than the suggestions already made, I’d check out the cooling fins on your processor by opening the computer case and looking. There have been various strange crashes reported with both Vegas and DVDA due to overheating processors.

    HTH,
    Tom
