Almost all new DVD players in OZ feature progressive scan & all players that I have already has this feature as well. It seems that the tide is definitely going in that direction. That being the case I think that I should be making all of my Dvds this way as well.

When I render using Vegas 5 I am offered the choice of progressive or interlaced files. I have never seen a similar option in DVDA2 is there one or does it only produce the default which is likely to be interlaced? What does DVDA do if the file is already progressive?

I have also never noticed in DVDA2 the option of having the MPEG2 file dual pass or not, is it single or dual pass encoding?

    Thanks in advance
