I created a single file project, and then added the video and audio tracks (one of each), but when I go to burn, I’m getting the following warnings, which seem to indicate that I have orphaned buttons and such, all a result of having no menus. But of course, that’s what I wanted. So I’m confused.

With the exception of the “orphaned” warning, I get those same messages whenever I make a single movie DVD so I’d ignore them and burn the disc.

    Hi, Mike–

    Thanks for the reply.

So what about the orphaned warning. Should I be concerned?

Jeffrey, I’ve never seen that warning so I don’t know if it’s something to be concerned about or not.
I always do a “Prepare” DVD and then use another app to do the actual burning from the created files.
This allows me to see if DVDA is going to choke on the DVD creation or not.

You need to fix that or, as the warning says, it’s an orphan and you can’t get to it.

You don’t need *any* buttons on your menu page, just drop the media to the project and make sure that the movie is set to “first play”. (The little blue star in the project window).
