  • DVDA stalls at burning on Bluray

    Hi,

This has happened a couple of times to me now. When authoring a bluray disc with DVDA the rendering and preparing goes well, it moves to burn, starts the burning lead in and then stalls – the estmated time left just keeps going up and up. Cancel then takes an age, the disc is unusalble, and you have to start again.

Any help would be very welcome.

This has happened to me before and both times it was my DVD burner. Some brands and models just don’t agree with DVDA as well as others. I always use pioneer drives but the most recent Blue-ray DVD burner combo fails heaps so I went to another band and its OK. Also drop your speed on the burn if all else fails and see how that goes.

My work around was to create a disc image and then burn that to a bluray with ImbBurn.
