dvda not responding for Sony Avc/Mvc – Templates AVC 1920X1080 50i

I think you forgot rendering the sound track. AVC file does not contain the sound track. You have to render the video and audio track into the same folder. For the sound track you have to use the ac3 pro or the sony w64 templates.

You should describe exactly what “not working” means. Are there any error messages? What did you do? What did DVD Architect do? What did you expect it to do?

You can try another method for adding media file to your project. Try the following:

File -> New Project -> Single Movie. In the “Open media” window click “Cancel”

In the menu row click Insert -> Media. In the “Insert Media” window select the right file.

Yea, try what Francis is suggesting. I don’t know why it is not responding after you selected your movie but it obviously doesn’t like something about the file that you rendered.

Which is more better for render using SONY AVC/MVC templates?

Blu ray1920x1080 50i,16Mbps or Blu ray 1920x:1080 50i,10Mbps

My sources are m2ts files (AVC 1920x1080x12) and I usually use the Blue-ray 1920×1080-50i, 16 Mbps template (SONY) for rendering. Larger Mbps provides better quality, but the output file also will be larger.

I would use the Blu ray1920x1080 50i,16Mbps template because the higher bit rate of 16Mbs will yield better quality than 10Mbps.

That was all Francis’ doing. I’m shocked that the file opened one way and not the other. Seems like a bug to me. You might want to report it to Sony.
