DVDA ..no burn
Aloha Gang,
Edit project,mostly slideshow,inV8.0b and render to mpeg2 +ac3. No problem . Load into DVDA 5.0a as a single play movie,no menues and prepares ok. Hangs at 66% which is where the burn starts under make video button.This is on a liteon burner with latest firmware. Tried: lower bit rate of 6.5 form default8,slower burn at 4x,tried memorex-R,tdk+R and verbatum+R.Tried in old copy of Uleadvideostudio and worked but recompressed to lower quality video and sound.Finally ,needed adisk for a banquet last nite, found freeware Imageburn and loaded VIDEO_TS & AUDIO_TS and made a dvd but no joy with DVDA.Picked up a Pioneer burner to swap out to see if DVDA will get happy. Any thoughts??…thanks for your time..bobtedit: Pioneer was recognized by my machine but quit burn at 26%.Update firmware and machine would not boot. Put liteon back in for now and machine acts normal…Q6600,4Gbram, XP64bit…

Aloha Steve,
I used the DVDA template out of V8.0b and will try the wave option as you suggest and then I guess a reinstall is about all I have not tried…also will move this to “DVDA..no burn” where you meant to post..thanks..bobt
