I guess this is one of those times that the gremlins got a hold of your project and refuse to let go 🙂
Your idea of filling up a DVD sounds like the best solution.

Mike, I found one of the gremlins. It is in the form of my Samsung BluRay/DVD player. It appears that it is not allowing the disc’s to play continuous. Playing the latest attempts on my computer, after your advice, loop just how they are supposed to. I guess my quest now is to find the answer to why the player hooked to the TV doesn’t want to cooperate….

It’s funny you should mention Samsung as that’s the brand of my Blu-Ray player too.
I had rented some movies a few weeks ago and one of them refused to play properly.
I ran a line from my router to the machine, updated the firmware and was able to play the disc successfully.
If that doesn’t work for you (does the manual say anything about looping?), browse the AVS forum as there’s probably a sub forum for your specific machine.

Thanks Mike. there is nothing about looping in the manual. There is a repeat function, but that didn’t do anything either. Even with the chapter repeat it sits there. One thing I noticed at the end of the disc is that the play arrow is on with the time display. I’d think that it should show the stop square if it is not going to loop???

I did manage to find a recent update that I downloaded into it, but that didn’t change anything either. The download description said it was an enhancement. Anyway, I’ll go into the AVS forum and see what I can find in there. My player is not listed, but there might be an answer somewhere.

LOL! Steve, to be honest I can give two hoots about my player playing a continuous loop. I am waiting for the client to get back to me with what he has to play his discs at his shows. I pray to the almighty he doesn’t answer with Samsung anywhere in the message……At some point I’ll figure out my player. ;^)
