  • DVDA: How to return to the menu loop section, not the beginning

    Hello,

This is my first post here and I’ve been using Vegas for a few weeks and DVD Architect … for a few days. This being said, please try not to be too technical if you have an answer to my problem. 🙂

I made a video in Vegas to use as the background of my menu in DVD Architect. It works well.

The menu background video is 36 seconds long. The first 29 seconds are kind of like an introduction to the DVD and the last 7 seconds show which video files can be selected. There is a loop on the last 7 seconds. That works well, too.

My problem is after I finish playing a video file I selected from my menu I would like to return to the loop section only not to the beginning of the video I use as my background.

How can I do that? Can it be done?

Thank you in advance for any help.

I did that about 5 years ago, so I need to take a look at what I did back then because I honestly don’t remember and haven’t done anything with those programs in a long time. If you are not in a rush, then check back in a few days and if there is nothing just post something to remind me.

Ok, so I found the menu I had made and checked how I did it. It is not too difficult actually.

    1. First, I put the video I wanted at the beginning (right click + insert media… you may have to move the file in the tree folder with your mouse). Before that, in Vegas, I cut out the part of my video that I want to loop, which I will add next. Then, go to “End Action” and make your destination the “Menu” if it is not that already.

    2. I double-click on the menu folder and go into “Background Media” then insert the video that will loop.

I hope you understand. That was the way I solved my problem.

    3. Go to “End Action” and make sure it is set to “Loop”.
