DVDA Hangs on Burn and Prepare
I’ve been a user of DVDA since version 2 and have never had a problem until now. It is freezes on the burn prepare process for a very long time, then the subsequent window does display but then freezes again. I’ve tried this with just a test project with limited media and it does the same thing. It was only a few days ago when I used it just fine with another much larger project so I am suspecting it is a computer issue but am at a loss to find out what. I’ve got plenty of disc space, I’ve reset all the parameters to their default settings but to no avail. Even did a reinstall with the latest version. I’ve not done any upgrades or added any software at all. The main machine rarely sees the internet but just in case I also did a full scan that returned no problems. Additionally it did prepare the small project (20 megs) but took a very long time to have the hour glass to go away and start the process. So my work around is to use Nero to burn the disc. Anyone have any insight about this?
