I use DVDA 3.o for all my projects and there isn’t any calls saying that it doesn,t play or skips. Just recent i did a wedding and burned just like all the rest of my projects and the client told me that she tryed playing the dvd in couple set top players , it didn’t play, but it played fine on her husband computer. Can someone help me with this. I have to get back to her. Thanks in advance

If you made them a -R, try giving them a +R (or visa versa).

Sometimes just making another copy on a duplicator will do it, or making another copy with a differnt brand media will work.

It’s been my experience that DVD-R’s work in alomost every machine. DVD+R’s work great in computers, but will not play on many set top DVD players.

Also, cut back the bit rate a little and burn at 2X speed.

This varies a lot, and if you look at the various websites devoted to this I think you will find that the -R and +R disks have about the same level of compatibility while the -RW has a higher compatibility rate than the +RW disks. I have found that what software used to burn and what speed you burn at has a more significant impact on compatibility than does + or – disks.
