I had built a project in DVDA3. On the program everything link perfectly, but when I burnt it and tested it on my DVD player. The next button would skip around all over the disk. See example below for what I am talking about.

    “IN DVDA3”

Video 1 (end action) video 2
Video 2 (end action) video 3
Video 3 (end action) video 4
Video 4 (end action) video 5

“AFTER BURN & I PRESS THE NEXT BUTTON”

Video 1 (goes to) video 5
Video 5 (goes to) video 2
Video 2 (goes to) video 4
Video 4 (goes to) video 3

I hope that helps. I can’t figure it out and I am in crunch mode now because of it. Can someone please help?

    Thank you,

    Jeremy Lei

I can’t explain why your burned DVD is behaving so strangely. However, I have had several problems in which a project tests fine on DVDA before I prepare the project for burning, but when I play the burned DVD in my set-top player, it behaves completely differently.

I’ve discovered that this only (and always) happens when I’m making a DVD that consists of several video files. My solution is to render a single video (MPG2) for DVDA with appropriately placed index marks, rather than to render each chapter as a seperate file. That should solve your problem, too.

OK I will try that. I’m now dredding the render time. =(

It’s like 2 hours of footage. lol

    Thanks,
