DVD Won’t play…
…on my computer. I’m the proud father of my first Encore made DVD. It plays awesomely on the TV, but when I put the disk into my computer, all I get are the .vob files, and it doesn’t “autoplay” for the lack of a better term.
I was told to create and image file and burn the image file to disk. Did that, but got the same thing as my original burn.
Please help!

You need to have a software DVD player like PowerDVD or WinDVD installed on your computer.

That’s a head scratcher.. you’d think that since you can play most DVD’s on your computer why does stuff from Encore need a special add-on?

Can you play other DVDs on your computer? What software do you use to play the others? Your symptoms seem like you are using Windows Explorer to browse the disc.

LOL Head scratcher… more like head slammer… mine up against a bick wall. I just tried some of my DVD’s, and it occurred to me, I was thinking of my old computer, it had the software, this one doesn’t.
