DVD will not play on computer
Just made a nice DVD and it plays fine on DVD player but will not play on computer, not even the burner I made it with? Checked all settings under disk and can’t figure this one out? Need to get this project off of HD to move on to next.

Does the computer play other (“store bought”) DVDs? If so, which folders and files do you see on the DVD you made yourself when you look at it in Windows Explorer / My Computer?

The strange part is the DVD will not even recognize in the drawer. It sees it as nothing there?

That’s not that strange. Do you have a DVD-ROM/CD-R drive, because I have found many of those to be out of spec…and they just plain crap out with burned DVDs on cheap media. My advice, choose the highest quality DVD-R media you can afford (I have found verbatim to be the best). There is a difference.

OK I will try some better DVD’s that may be the fix. Thanks for the tip.
