DVD – VR recording via pc
I was wondering if there were any authoring programmes which allow dvd-vr recording similar to that of stand alone dvd recorders or dvd camcorders.
I need to produce a dvd with a promo video trailor.
The client will then add a live recording to each disc using stand alone dvd recorders, 10-15 at a time.
I need to produce approx. 1,500 per month, so I also need to be able to do this and then use a duplicating tower to copy the vr discs.
I think I’m asking too much, but I live in hope 🙂
The only other way I can see to do it, is produce a dvd with the promo video on and get the client to play this out before commencing his live recording of the event. He thinks this is to messy for his staff, and I don’t get any money for it…….
Need any more info, just ask. I currently use Ulead WS2 for authoring and canopus storm/premiere 6.5 for editing.

Not yet at least.
You’d be better off just recording from a set top player at this point.
