I think I know the answer to this, but I figured I would ask it anyways. I have a client who wants to take a previous mastered DVD (~4 gigs, I haven’t seen the disc yet), and fit it to a 2gig pen drive. They want it to act just like a DVD so that when a client plugs in the pen drive, it fires up the DVD player. From what I gather it is not just a straight video, put the who menu and video.
I am guess that I will need to remaster the whole project, and that there is no way to shrink the DVD to fit the pen drive. My other thought would be that it might be better to make some kind of flash player for the file instead of making it a DVD file, but they may just want to keep it the same.
Anyone ever been asked to do this before?

You can use tools like DVD shrink to make it a 2g disc but quality will take a severe hit! Having a player launch as you insert a pen drive and sees a TS folder will be an issue depending on the player and how each end user has their system set up. Just tell them how to play the TS folder.
