    Hello all!

I have to make some clips for a show reel DVD im making at work.

However the only source for these clips are the Master DVDs.

Could anyone advise me on the best way to extract the footage (currently .VOB format) from the DVD and convert it into a format that I can compile a new DVD with?

Any help would be really really appreciated on this!

    Cheers in advance

    Matt

There are many apps that will do this. mpeg streamclip is free and simple. you can choose a file format to export too… most main formats except .wmv i think. Of course, your footage will still be another generation worse than your already compressed DVD.
