  • DVD style Authoring for MP4?

My company has been seeing very good numbers for the digital downloads of our DVD products. We simply convert the DVD to a single mp4, and use Metadata Hootenanny to add chapter marks. So far, MH works great, but the more we move to all digital delivery, the more I want to “trick” out the mp4 with DVD style authoring.

Anybody seen other software for adding chapters, menus, sub-menus, back buttons, etc. to an electronic file?

    Thanks,

mp4 is simply a movie codec, it doesn’t do anything.

If you are on the web you will need to use html and what not. Abode Flash or products like that. One feature the Encore has it will convert your DVD (developed in Encore) and make it a web site. That maybe the easiest way to get what you need.

Or, write your own player using Flash or Director.
This way you can do tons of stuff more than just the DVD specs.
