DVD Studio Pro or Encore?
Hi
I’ve just bought CS3 and discovered adobe encore, but I already have apple DVD studio pro 3.0. I’m a bit unsure which one to use for dvd authoring – I use adobe after effects, photoshop and illustrator so encore might be the best choice. I’m mainly looking for reliability and quality.
Just wondered if anyone has any suggestions or a preference.

I use both, and highly recommend DVD Studio Pro. Encore is extremely buggy – I’ve had crashes on long-timeline projects, bad discs (I’m re-burning one right now), and sluggish timeline navigation. Sure, it could be my discs or my pc, but I’ve never had a bug with DVD SP, and I’ve authored pretty elaborate DVDs that Encore probably couldn’t handle. I’m ordering Adobe CS3 production suite as well, but I’m not even installing Premiere or Encore.

Thank you that’s interesting, as I’ve just started using Encore and it keeps crashing; I’ve never had this problem before with any other software on my Mac.
