    Hi,

Is there a way of not letting DVD studio pro encode my MPEG-2 file as it is already encoded to the highest I want it?

When I import it to the time line it re-encodes and I lose quality when I burn a DVD.

I can’t find anything to stop this or am I doing something wrong.

    thanks

The file youre feeding it is not a MPEG 2 file then. What the extension? How did you encode it?

    thanks for responding

    it says. m2v

it was encoded by a company that did the post color grading. they wrote: MPEG-2.m2v

I had to import the Audio separately as the .m2v had no audio,
