DVD SP compatibility issues
I’m having trouble getting a DVD I’ve burned with DVD Studio Pro to play correctly in eMacs. It will play on every other Mac and PC that I’ve tested it on, as well as set top DVD players. However on the eMac, the menu background and text does not show up, but the buttons will and the tracks will play. I am creating the background in Photoshop and exporting it as a pict file. The text I tried creating in DVD Studio Pro and also as part of the pict file I used for the menu background, but neither showed up on the eMac. Does anyone know if there is a compatibility issue with eMacs or if it’s the eMac’s display or DVD player settings?

That can happen if the computer does not have a current version of DVD player, OS X and/or QuickTime. Try running software update.
