I rented many movies in which there’s a slideshow with stills from the movie, and in them you can advance or go backward to the previous still by using the forward and backward arrows in the DVD player remote control. I recently started using DVD Studiio Pro 4 and I couldn’t find a way to do that for a series of stills that I have. If I do a slideshow with them I have two options, either make them play from start to finish setting the number of seconds that each will show, or the same thing but setting it to pause at each still, which is annoying because the viewer would have to press play after each still.

I want to find a way to do it the same way as in those movie DVDs, advance or go backward with the arrows in the remote control. How do I do that?

    Thanks,

    Sebastian

The way I do it, if the client needs it for presentations
and does not want auto-advance, just set each slide
for 5 or 10 minutes. Then link them together as chapters
to go forward or back with.

Just set the duration way longer than they would dream of having it up for.
It shouldn’t take up any more room on the disc since
the slide is just an I-Frame.

At least thats how it works on Sonic ReelDVD.
